There are many activities in the local
area to suit everyone. Jevington is situated on the South Downs Way and is also just a few miles away from the sea.
There are beaches at Eastbourne and Seaford, or for something a bit more special, there are rockpools to be found at Birling
Gap and Hope Gap. Tide timetables are to be found in the cottage.
Other attractions include:
Drusillas Zoo Park - great for the family, not just any
ordinary zoo, entrance includes unlimited rides on Thomas the Tank Engine, air conditioned soft play, adventure
playground, crazy golf and face painting (during school holidays) to name a few things.
The Bluebell Railway - take a trip on the steam
train, or for a special occasion, have an evening meal on there.
There are numerous golf courses within 30 minutes drive from Jevington.
Glyndebourne Opera House is a short drive away,
enjoy a picnic in the beautiful grounds and a fantastic production of your choice. Call the box office for returns.
The Hungry Monk restaurant is just a few hundred
yards down the road. This renowned restaurant is where Banoffee pie was first invented in 1972. Come and try the
real thing!
These
are just a few suggestions. There is a more comprehensive folder in the cottage with information on what else you can
do come rain or shine locally.
